COVID-19 doesn’t discriminate - and neither should we. We are all in this together.
I support the All Americans Movement started by Andrew Yang to promote togetherness during this crisis. There is absolutely no place for discrimination in America. A person of Asian ancestry is not the cause of COVID-19.
COVID-19 has impacted various American communities differently. Since the start of the pandemic, there has been a spike in Anti-Asian hate crimes. Also, it’s important to know that COVID-19 is hurting African-Americans and underserved Americans disproportionately. We must come together because we are ALL Americans.
I particularly like this #AllAmericans video because it brings together people of many different ethnicities and backgrounds. Like Dave Chapelle says in the video, let’s be good neighbors and let’s get through this safely.
