Congrats to all the recent graduates! This year is particular special because my former medical technician, Tyler Capello, just graduated Drexel Medical School Class of 2021.
A little over 4 years ago, Tyler was working as my medical assistant while he applied to med school. It was his first time working in a clinical environment but I already knew he would become a great doctor. I still remember the day when we did mock interviews for his upcoming med school interviews. Time really flies because he is now Dr. Tyler Cappello!
I really enjoy working and mentoring recent college grads and premed students. Their energy and passion for patient care constantly reminds me of why I got into medicine in the first place.
A lot of hard work goes into earning those diplomas. Congrats to everyone in the Class of 2021!
